Welcome! This portion of the website focuses on the pr0cess 0rganization;
its ideals, events & artists.
What is the pr0cess 0rganization about, you say?
Well, in general, it’s an umbrella for a group of like minded individuals dedicated to thought provoking events, music, & artistry, presented in various forms & styles. More specifically, what the pr0cess means to us, and what we hope to convey, is a unity of body, mind, & soul through clarity and a higher level of consciousness with oneself & others. We attempt to bring these ideals out and infuse them into to the world through our events as it resonates through the sounds our DJs & producers perform for you to dance and/or meditate to, and flows onto the canvas of the arts & visuals that are presented.
We strive to bring a positive & peaceful atmosphere through these means in everything we do,
whether it be in our events, our own performance or art, or our personal lives. The pr0cess is something that manifests & carries on well after the music stops, your friends have gone home for the night, and you sit to contemplate the adventure you just experienced.
We are dedicated to the events; some of which involve music but we represent even more.
Thus, we bring to you the following brief, though relatively complete, synopsis of what the pr0cess means to us.
Diversity
pr0cess brings a positive outlook and a peaceful atmosphere with our music and events. We bring this attitude and perceptiveness to the world around us, through music and creative output. We appreciate what we learn from those that attend, perform, and contribute to events we bring to them.
pr0cess is a means by which one unites their body & mind. This unity moves them closer to a higher level of oneness within themself and the world they create around them. We work to unite people of all walks of life together to produce a true and loving vibe for all creatures of the universe. We hope people who come from different backgrounds, cultures, and class will leave all differences aside to have fun, as well as enlighten themselves & the person next to them with something to enhance their lives.
We bring diversification of muscial genres and artistic expression to our events. Every single genre, like every person, has something to say in its own artistic way and this is how we express it.
In 1999 Ryan bought his own set of decks and there began his journey in the world of dance music. After the turn of the millennium he was being fully recognized as someone that could get a dance floor moving at house parties around Idaho. It didnt take long before he was booked at Boise clubs like Livewire and Sixth & Main. The underground parties came soon after that. Up until 2001 his style of choice was progressive trance, techno, tech house, NRG / UK Hardhouse. Ryans collection of psytrance was too small to play until 2001. The first time playing out psytrance at a publicized event was Got a Minute in Boise, ID. Since then its been all psytrance and goa when playing for the techno dance scene. The deeper, darker style is his preference, especially at outdoor gigs. If Ryan is in a club atmosphere or just in one of those moods he is known to play a more melodic progressive trance style. He has also had fun with incorporating his background in hip hop. Once in a while youll find him in the clubs playing this genre that is at the other end of the spectrum of dance music. His turntablism skills are really turning up the heat. He wants people to remember that all music genres are great in there own way and he has fun with having this wide spectrum of music in his collection.
Recently Ryan has given in to playing CDs and vinyl do to the lack of psytrance pressed on vinyl. Like many other djs, Ryan has begun to make his own music also. A lot of the recent creations have been for his psyambient sets that you can see him play live as the alias psymaestro or in the collaborative pair with Steve-0 called psychephelia.
Poly became involved in the Boise dance scene in the early 90s when a chance encounter put him in contact with Ishy K (aka Mike Balance), who would occasionally Dj at a local coffee shop called Dreamwalker. Through Mike, Poly was introduced to Jesse Reynard, who happened to be one of the only people at the time that owned a mixer, a pair of Technics MK1200s, and was nice enough to let someone he barely knew use them both, as well as some of his records, to learn to mix. Later that same year, after buying a pair of belt-driven turntables from a local thrift shop, he began practicing matching beats on his own. Poly became involved with a couple of Californian transplants who brought with them the knowledge of throwing warehouse parties (formerly Kindred Connections) and who were searching the valley for any local Djs.
Poly was given his first opportunity to Dj at Avatar (Boises second warehouse party). He immediately fell in love with the mixing, the music & the people. Since these early beginnings, Poly has had the opportunity to play at some of Boises most memorable parties; such as Zoinks!, Fantasy Acres & Boogeyman...as well as some more recent events such as the Idaho Decomp event & Esthetic Evolution Festival. He has played his progressive style with the likes of Dj Dan, Mike Balance, Christopher Lawrence, Dano & Brownie...just to name a few.
After taking a few years off in order to pursue a college education, was never able to shake the Djing addiction and has chosen to again pursue his true passion. With a new found love for techno, techhouse & minimal...his well constructed sets are sure to help make any party a memorable experience.
Beji lives in Boise, Idaho and creates music when the universe is so inclined. Each soundbyte carries a life that is defined by its relationship to the entire environment of sound. Listen to your body. This music will reach past your ears and your brain. Let your entire vessel be filled.

A native of Warsaw, Poland, Manic grew up moving from place to place, but eventually found his home in Boise, Idaho in 1993. Manic started his journey in the EDM scene during his high school years. The scene was very small at the time and events would happen only a few times a year, but they proved to be a substantial musical influence. The love for the music started to grow with every event Manic attended; sometimes even going to the extreme of traveling out of state just to catch a glimpse of "superstar" DJs rocking the masses.
In 1998, Manic was in a car accident that left him with some extra cash flow. Not knowing what to do next, he spent a few months deliberating whether or not he should buy another vehicle. Instead, he purchased two turntables, mixer, and 30 records.
After being locked in his room, carefully learning the way of the DJ, he released his very first mix CD. From this mix, he received his very first gig at a club night called Space, ran by Chris Le, a very enthusiastic, lovable DJ from Philly.
Shortly after this gig, Manic exploded onto the Boise EDM scene with the NU NRG sound that nobody was playing.
Later on, Manic and a couple of his close friends, Justin LaBorde and Chris Boss, took over the Space and renamed it BPM. This was one of the longest running club nights in Boise, which lasted almost two and half years. It started with one night a week, but, by the end of its success, BPM happened three times a week. Manic had the opportunity to play alongside some of the biggest names of that era: Tinrib, Max, Scott Stubs, and DJ Jurgen, producer of Alice Deejay.
Nonetheless, as they say, all good things must come to an end. So, with the club closing down, Manic took a break for few years. During his break, Manic stayed in tune with EDM and fell in love with breakbeats. In 2007, Manic got the itch to get back in the game. He got a few gigs at a local club called Babylon, from which he received his opportunity to show everyone that he still had what it takes to be a DJ on NYE 2008. One of the DJs was forced to cancel due to an accident, so Manic got his spot and opened up for Seattles club, DJ Lifeguard.
The response was more than positive from everyone! He quickly started getting booked at local and semi-local events. Manic was introduced to a great crew in Bend, Oregon called Slipmat Science; they gave him the opportunity to play alongside some of the biggest names in the business: 30hz (Lot49), General Midi (Lot49), and SPL (Hollow Point Recordings), to name a few.
Manic also had his chance to play at Boise's biggest event, Esthetic Evolution. He got to share the main stage with Sig Gris (Opulent Temple), and, on the second stage, he played with NW superstars, Adam Nicewonger and international producer, Ott.
Over the past decade, Jeremiah has become one of Idaho's top notch House and Electro DJs. He's juggled quite a few residencies in some of Boise's best night clubs, in addition to performing at many raves and one-offs in the area. Jeremiah was introduced to the underground dance scene in '98 and it didn't take long for him to know that he had to be a part of it. He immediately fit right in to the local DJ scene and quickly mastered the 1's and 2's of the game. With an arsenal of heavy hitting music and a fun, party spirit, he'll be sure to rock the spot and leave everyone wanting more!
With an electronic musical background that points to the 80's and Industrial music, stEVIL has a wide range of knowledge in the electronic scene. stEVIL can take u on journeys from as low as 120 to 140 BPMs, with any kind of style of House, Breakbeat, Techno or Industrial rhythm that fits in. Though generally more attuned to a harder beat, stEVIL can very well keep it interesting with a change in feel to the music he spins.
From early beginnings in the electronic music scene of experimenting with drum machines, samplers and synths....stEVIL has moved on to the turntables to develop a soundscape for your dancin' feet. DJing since the year 2000 through styles such as NRG and dabbling in Drum & Bass, he now has developed skills mixing not only turntables, but CD decks as well. stEVIL also combines this knowledge of equipment that he has gained through the years, to combine with Ryan Duley in playing psychedelic-oriented, spacey, ambient music under the moniker of psychephilia.....
previous page
Born out of the love for the mellow and abstract, psychephilia doesn't really care so much if you dance to the music....but that you become one with it. Ryan Duley and stEVIL combine their musical talents and tastes in pleasing accord to 'stimulate your eyeballs' as Dr. Leary would say. Interladen with samples, live improvisation and some damn good ambient music....Ryan and steve fascinate the ears with their mellow chaos. A chill spot favorite, psychephilia will not only give you pleasing music, but help you feel and see it as well.

Ode to the Desert * September 29th, 2001
With the help of Jessa (later becoming a member of P.O.E.) pr0cess was able to bring a wonderful event in a time that Boises scene was in turmoil. The only thought on our minds was forgetting the drama & dancing the night away! The DJs who played at this FREE event were Stormshadow tag teaming with Lost, Adlib, Curtis Porter, Coby-One, Ryan Duley, and steve-0. This was a perfect way to finish up the last day of summer.
4:19 Got A Minute? * April 19th, 2002
Can you say banging up the hizouse? Thanks to our co padres at P.O.E., we threw down a bumpn good time. We loved this collaboration with these great Peeps (Of Earth!). CL McSpadden came to town to represent Phoenix style most proper. Also to throwing down were Stormshadow, Mumble, steve-0 & Ryan Duley. The DJs kept the heat rising & the place smoken to make the turn to 420 a memorable one.
The Family Gathering * June 20th - 22nd, 2003
This camping trip was definitely some super badass fun. Some have dubbed this event Esthetic (Evolution) 0, definitely a premonition of things to come! We were very happy on the turnout; exactly the amount of people we wanted. The weather gave us a huge surprise with some Sunday morning snow (on the first day of summer?!?)EPIC. We want to thank all of the DJs for giving us some great tunes to listen toIncluding Ryan Duley, Brooklyn, Mumble, steve-0, Dark Matterand many, many more! But most of all we want to thank all that showed up giving positive energy which made for such a great vibe & an awesome campout weekend!
The Desert Gathering * July 26th, 2003
Due to a severe thunderstorm this party had to be moved from a planned desert location to the Taft house for those that knew where it was (which seemed to be a lot of folksfun cleaning up this one!). Even then the party got a little too big for the neighbors likinghaha! The DJs for the night were Nico aka Darkmatter, Poly, Manic, Arc, Ryan Duley, kexbi eccida & Psychephelia. Most of these DJs threw down at the house anyway & we had a great time despite the weather.
Sight & Sound (in collaboration with L.I.F.E.) * September 20th, 2003
Here was a wonderful gathering that went off without a hitch! Everyone had a good time to end the summer at this one! Set on the normally underwater plateau of Arrowrock reservoir, a sight to behold, and location that has since never been accessible for such an event! The scene was incredibly surreal under the full moon, and upon the dried up cracked mud lake floor we danced happily to the likes of Brad Lee & Keldar, Nico & Velchrom, Ian S., Bacchus, as well as pr0cess' own Psychephilia!
Heavy Rotation (JD & Friends biweekly club night) * 2003 - 2004
For about a year, pr0cess teamed up with White Noise Productions to bring you a biweekly night of EDM & fun. Set at the JD & Friends location in downtown Boise we enjoyed our Sunday nights every other week. Nearly every local DJ possible played at this eventmostly successful, sometimes slow but always funthis long lasting club night (almost 2 years altogether1 of those including pr0cess) helped rebuild the EDM scene from ashes left following the troubles of 2000-2001.
Bonedance * October 31st, 2003
On Halloween of 2003, pr0cess put together a true tribute to the ghoulish spirit of the holiday with the Bonedance party at The Venue. We had a wonderful time creating this masterpiece of a Halloween atmosphere including Skully, a 13 tall danceable skeleton masterminded by pr0cess Jared Yates Decker! Efforts on other projects such as a huge spider (with spider web) on the ceiling, homemade scarecrow & mummy, the evil clown, and even a painstakingly long session of splices horror movie clips put together by steve-0. DJ's Chibi V! (Oklahoma City, OK), Mumble (Moscow, ID), Lost, Stormshadow, Eli Andrew & little known pr0cess crew member kexbi eccida added to the insanity of the holiday. A lot of love to Xoe who helped make this incredible event of Halloween effects come togetheryour contributions will be missed!
Esthetic Evolution * July 15th - 17th, 2005
Esthetic Evolution marked a new chapter in (the) pr0cess history. This event was our largest undertaking to date & became an instant classic. Taking some values passed down to us from the Burning Man Project & our own party throwing desires & abilities, we strove to bring the cultures of music & art together for a truly harmonious engagement. Many who attended, realized & participated in true fashion creating the family connection that we had hoped for. It was after this event that we decided to make this the premiere pr0cess event and present Esthetic Evolution on an annual basis.
Esthetic Evolution 2 * July 28th - 30th, 2006
This second Evolution was truly an incredible Event. The Festival was even larger than the first year. In its second year, Esthetic Evolution offered not 1 but 2 different stages of musical performances which ran simultaneously throughout the 3 days & 2 nights of celebrations. What's more, attendees of the Event began to participate more intensely by bring artistic contributions and unique camp themes & setups. It has always been the intention to provide a landscape and canvas upon which patrons to the Event can be more than just spectators. Esthetic Evolution 2 (EE2) definitely built upon this groundwork set forth in its first year.
Esthetic Evolution 3 * June 22nd - 24th, 2007
Our third Evolution was indeed a transformation in & of itself. Continuing to grow each year, not only in the number of participants, but also in the size & conviction of the community the Event has embraced. It was for these reasons that we knew that more help was needed, so this marked the first collaboration (officially) with the People Of Earth crewa necessary step in keeping the event manageable to its size! Many who came truly contributed to the spirit of the Festival by providing expressions of themselves in the form of Art Installations & Theme Camps. This year, even the performer stages grew as an independently run 3rd venue was introduced on the shores of the Boise River. Over the last three years, Esthetic Evolution has featured dozens of the Northwest's best electronic music DJs & producers, covering an incredible range of musical styling. Esthetic Evolution has grown from an intentional, homegrown Idaho event full of friends & memories into an amazing Northwest collaboration with over 600 attendees this past year. Many came from all parts of the country and some have even come from other parts of the world.
Esthetic Evolution 2008 * June 20th - 22nd, 2008
For the fourth year in the Esthetic saga, we truly continued stepping it up a notch! We began to adopt a theme related premise to the event instead of using a number representation for the event year. For the number four year, we decided upon the 4 elements as the themeFire, Water, Earth & Air. Continually embraced by the community EE08 was incredibly successful from its organizational mastery & community participationto its stellar lineup from all over the country.
Resolution * (NYE) December 31st, 2005
Teaming up with the House Head (Kelly), pr0cess brought everyone a NYE party to remember. Good times were had to ring in the New Year of 2006 at the new location Imparts (formerly JD & Friends across the alleyway). Miss Funk from Seattle came to town to funkify our dancing assesteaming up with some local favorites we all started the fresh year off proper.

Esthetic Evolution 2009 * June 19th 21st, 2009
The fifth Esthetic with the theme of the 5 elementssight, smell, touch, taste & hearing was another huge success in bringing the community together! Not only the community of Boise & the Northwestern United Statesbut now venturing beyond the borders of the country with our first International headliner! Dylan Rhymes from the United Kingdom graced our presence like none other with his musical mastery (among the other amazing artists) and also with his fun-loving spirit. Another epic Festival in the booksamazing musicians, amazing art (this first year of the introduction of the Art Grants offered by the event) & amazing people!
Go Go Ganesh * April 23rd, 2010
The quest to create an even bigger & better EE event begot this event to raise money for an incredibly art piecethe Ganesh art car from Salt Lake City! Set at the downtown venue of the Terrapin Lounge, this fundraiser did exactly its intention & raised the funds to make Ganeshs arrival at Esthetic a success! The pr0cess & P.O.E. crews combined to put on a wonderful showcase of local talent share some EE merchandise & have a great time for cheapgetting everyone excited for the summer festival!
Esthetic Evolution 2010 * June 18th 20th, 2010
Year six continually bringing the community together even more so with the theme of the six degrees of separation. No, not the game where you can trace any movie, director or actress back to Kevin Bacon (haha). This is more than thatwe are all connected somehow (as Jared Deckers interconnected art project showed at the event). Another great lineup was put together with some more International talent such as Meat Katie & James Harcourtand EEs first officially unofficial sold out event was incredible! For more information on this years Evolution click the flyer.
Pussycat Ball * November 20th, 2010
Another team up party, this time with the Nurse & Dark Psyencepr0cess helped put the finishing touches (musically) on an already established yearly event that is a favorite amongst Burners & Esthetic goers alike! Set in the wonderful Rose Room space in downtown Boise, Jen Woolfe from S.F. & Sinesolder from Portland and locals, entertained all the kitty cats for the night.
TransConFigural GreyDation * April 15th, 2011
Another Esthetic Evolution Art Fundraiser, like Go Go Ganesh the year before, went off well. Set at the same location as Ganesh in downtown Boise (formerly the Terrapin Staion...now called the Red Room), this party did as intended . . . it raised a good chunk of funds to bring another wonderfully beautiful piece of art to the Esthetic Evolution Festival! This time, as a chakra related "totem pole" (of sorts), art projects created by local artist, Himay Rivera, was the main focus of the Fundraiser! Consisting of a split 2 venue party, the second venue, Heirloom Dance Studio, hosting an 18+ event, also went great with awesome DJ's entertaining the crowd!
Esthetic Evolution 2011 * June 17 - 19, 2011
In this seventh year, a most excellent year, we decided on a theme of the seven chakras. A theme that is more & more of growing importance in our lives, as well as the lives of attendees to the event by always encouraging those to look within to help with the self. With a new layout, making the meadow itself a "spine" with the chakras running the length of it...we feel we stepped up the quality of the event an enormous amount (and most that came out agreed). With the addition of a new 80' dome by the boys from mandaladomes.com...some amazing lighting by spaceshaping.com...laser from Robin Ley...and of course the Kraken/Starborne sound systems...this event was an amazing interstellar universe at night. Once again art & participation eclipsing anything we could ever hope for at one of our events!
